Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan launched their activities in Kutubdia upazila of Cox’s Bazar District as theie third branch with the main objective of reviving our lost folk culture by properly practicing their indigenous cultures by liberating the country from foreign cultural invasions.
The “Kutubdia Industrial and Trade Fair” which was held for the first time in Kutubdia, was the place where it was officially announced the names of the new responsible and advisory members of the Kutubdia Upazila branch of the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan.
Mr. Sujan Chowdhury will be the chief sponsor of the Kutubdia Upazila branch of the organization. Among those who will also be serving are Bandarban Senior Judicial Magistrate Mr. Manisha Mahajan, In-charge of the Kutubdia Police Station’s Honorable Officer Mr. Didarul Ferdous, Cooperative Officer Kamal Pasha & a local cultural person Sirajul Islam Modhu.
Among those who will carry out organizational duties at the Kutubdia Upazila branch are poet Jasimuddin High School head teacher Anishur Rahman, teacher of Kutubdia Government Girls High School, Sajal Das, senior teacher of Kutubdia Adarsh High School Akkas Uddin, There are 5 emerging cultural activists, including Naima, who are comprised of 3 members They will serve a variety of levels.There are also 30 emerging cultural activists, including Aman, Salman, Mahi, Mithun, Naima, who will fulfill their responsibilities for 198 members at different levels.
Mr. Abdullah Al Maruf, the founder of the “Lokoj Sanskritik Sangathan”, presided over this “giving committee” in the presence of thousands of people from the upazila. The responsible members and members of the Chittagong University branch of the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” were also present there.
It is to be noted that the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” started their journey from the “Mukto Moncho” of the Chittagong University on September 18, 2013, after a long period of prolonged cyclone of the year 1991, the successful celebration of the great victory day organized by the Kutubdia Upazila Administration on December 16, 2016.The “Centennial Year of Kutubdia Police Station” was also celebrated & “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” performed gambhira, alakapa, including the rural sangpala, etc. Different parts of the country’s culture has gained popularity through the successful performances of this organisation already.
Speakers lauded the organization for its unwavering call to conduct the activities of the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” across the country.
