“Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan”
2019. From the very first day of the year to the very last day, from January 1st to December 31st, the organization celebrates the whole year as a working year.
As an active representative of Chittagong University “Sanskritik Jot” (Cultural Alliance), we organized the “Peetha Utshob” in collaboration with four other coalition organizations which started earlier this year.
Flowers offered in February in honor of language martyrs, flower giving and discussion on the occasion of the Great Independence Day in March, traditional “Gambhira” of rural Bengal performance at Chittagong University’s central program in April, “Gambhira” was also performed at the Bangabandhu Book Fair organized by the University of Chittagong in May. Apart from this, at different times of the year till September, especially during the Saraswati worship organized by the university, at the art exhibition organized by the Faculty of Arts,
And the representatives of the rulal folk culture that is “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” the organisation also showcased the traditional “poter gaan” of rural Bangla relating to Radhakrishna’s love story in the cultural program of the international seminar program.
At the initiative of Mr. Mehdi Hasan Kajal, General Secretary of Rajshahi University convening committee and Mr. Sanchoy Kumar, some “cha chakra” (tea party) and folk discussion were organized at different times & environments.
A beautiful jubilee was organized on the initiative of the Ishwardi Upazila Branch in Pabna District as well as the various members of the committee.The organization traveled that day to various historical sites in the greater Jessore district.
Chittagong University Branch had undertaken various collaborative volunteer activities for all the candidates who have taken part in the University admission test, providing guidance to the examiners so that they can reach their center easily, the members of the Chittagong University Branch also helped them finding their result after the examination.
Following the inauguration ceremony on September 18, the organization appointed its new executive committee through a domestic cultural event.Flower giving for the victory day & some domestic cultural events were also held in December.
A domestic prayer ceremony was also organized at the death of Mr. Sirajul Islam Modhu Sir, one of the leading advisers of the Kutubdia Upazila branch of the organization under the initiative of Kutubdia Upazila branch of Cox’s Bazar district.
All in all,the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” passed the year through joy & pain and it was an year of success indeed.The organization believes that by organizing their affirmative action properly in 2020, the organization will be able to highlight the positive aspects of it by properly practicing the culture of the rural Bengal.
