On the Martyrs’ Day, a floral offering and general meeting of the “Lokoj Sanskritik Sangathan” were held.

21st of February. On the International Mother Language Day and on the Great Martyrdom Day, the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan” is paying tribute for every martyr who self-sacrificed themselves in the language movement. Our language movement was not limited to the establishment of language rights. It was intimately associated with our assertion of independence and self-realization.Bangladesh’s independence came through a bloody struggle in the 1971 through the path of the 1952 language movement. After the recognition of International Mother Language Day on February 1999, almost all the countries of the world officially celebrate this day as a reminder of the dignity of mother tongue. As a result, the glory of “Ekushey February” (21st February) has spread beyond the borders of the world. It is undoubtedly our pride and joy.
The promise of the sacrifice of the martyrs is that we can practice every aspect of our overall life and culture in this way.
